Mitsubishi launches workforce development program in the Americas

Mitsubishi Electric Automation has officially launched its workforce development program titled ‘Diamondworks!’ The company stated in a release that its purpose is to educate and prepare the future workforce for industries that rapidly embracing automation.

There have been many advancements in automation equipment and the knowledge needed to succeed in industries such as manufacturing, packaging, automotive, metalworking and logistics.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation is therefore collaborating with educational facilities throughout the Americas to support this need. The company will also work with industry associations that provide training and development, and organizations that promote manufacturing automation as a career.

Diamondworks! is designed to bring automation equipment, training and curriculum to the next generation of the automation workforce. As a full-service automation provider, Mitsubishi Electric Automation is offering stand-alone CNC or robot training stands to fully integrated automation cells.
